I gotta say, for the price I paid, Masaya Casas Viejas delivered beyond my expectations. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the location was simply breathtaking. The staff treated me like family, making me feel right at home.

Now, when it comes to hotel breakfast, there was just one small hiccup. It would have been more convenient if the waiters could serve drinks from the bar during meals instead of having to go to a different location.

This hidden gem was the perfect place to spend my Easter break. The atmosphere was social and relaxed, with a wonderful pool to cool off in. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, speaking multiple languages and always ready to help. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Plus, the cute little cat named Mona added a touch of charm to the place. I also loved the fact that there was no WiFi, allowing me to truly disconnect and unwind.

Although the location was beautiful, there wasn't much to do in the surrounding area if you've already visited waterfalls or coffee places. However, if you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect spot.

The accommodation was beautifully designed and environmentally friendly, which was a unique aspect that I really appreciated. The location, nestled amidst the hills, provided unrivaled views and a great opportunity to spot wildlife. The birding guide in the morning was excellent, making it a perfect stay for bird enthusiasts like myself. The food at the restaurant was also delicious, offering a variety of options to choose from.

That the roads leading to the hotel were a bit rough, but that's to be expected for an off-the-beaten-path location. it seemed that the hotel had a predominantly younger crowd, which made me feel a bit out of place as an older guest.

As someone who loves being immersed in nature, I absolutely loved the secluded location of Masaya Casas Viejas. It's a true hidden gem nestled in the mountains, offering breathtaking views of the jungle. the facilities are more like a hotel than a hostel, with a stunning infinity pool that adds to the overall charm. the food at the on-site bistro is out of this world, and it's all made with fresh ingredients sourced from their own garden or a biologic farm. the attention to detail in the rooms and the overall design is remarkable. the staff's kindness and hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. From taking care of me when I got sick, to ensuring our safety during a hurricane, their level of service goes beyond expectations.

Felt great, nothing too much trouble.

The room was absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view from the balcony. the secluded location provided a much-needed escape from the city, allowing for peace and quiet. the staff were friendly and always ready to assist.

Getting to the hotel was a bit of a challenge, especially the rough ride on the way up. the scheduled meal times meant that you couldn't order food whenever you wanted.

The view was absolutely breathtaking, with the mountains stretching out before us. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed three meals a day plus snacks. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Jess. The facilities were impressive, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lively bar. We also loved the activities available, like yoga and waterfall hikes.

The wifi and hot water were unreliable due to the remote location. the noise levels at night were a bit disruptive, especially with karaoke sessions at the bar.
